Each ISCP programme combines faculty lectures, live operative workshops and a Fellowship examination path (FISCP), certified by the Society. Regional chapters host recurring events — from Proctocon to Complicon — so members stay close to hands-on training wherever they practise.
ISCP Election 2026 notifications, nomination forms and the frozen membership list are now open for review by all eligible fellows.

ISCP took shape in the minds of surgeons drawn together by a shared interest in coloproctology, founded under Dr. Shantikumar Chiwate as President, Dr. Dinesh Shah as Secretary, and Dr. Laxmikant Ladukar as Treasurer, with the Society registered at its Nagpur headquarters.
Since then, regular training programmes and workshops have carried the Society's work to surgeons across every corner of India — built on open discussion, transparency and a steady stream of innovation toward gentler, more effective proctology care.

Secretary's Message
In its early years, ISCP has already closed the gap between scattered regional efforts and a connected national community — built through steady leadership and the continued participation of fellow members from every part of the country. In a short span, the Society has earned its identity by insisting on hands-on workshop training first, followed by grounded theoretical understanding in coloproctology.
